Georg Adler (Ökonom)
Georg Adler (* 28. Mai 1863 in Posen; † 15. September 1908 in Berlin) war ein deutscher Nationalökonom.
Leben
Bereits im Alter von 23 Jahren war Adler habilitiert und von der Universität Freiburg/Br. im Jahr 1890 zum außerordentlichen Professor ernannt worden. Im Herbst 1900 wurde Adler zum außerordentlichen Professor der Staatswissenschaften an die CAU Kiel berufen.
Seinen gewählten Forschungsschwerpunkten zufolge kann er der historischen Schule zugerechnet werden. Neben wirtschaftsgeschichtlichen Studien widmete er sich der Ideengeschichte und den Problemen des Sozialismus. Besondere Bedeutung in seinem Wirken hatte die Herausgabe der Hauptwerke des Sozialismus und der Sozialpolitik seit 1904.[1]

Georg Adler (economist)
Georg Adler (* 28. May 1863 in Poznań; † 15. September 1908 in Berlin) was a German national economist.
Life
Adler had already been habilitated at the age of 23 and appointed associate professor by the University of Freiburg/Br. in 1890. In the autumn of 1900, Adler was appointed associate professor of political science at Kiel University.
According to his chosen research focuses, he can be attributed to the historical school. In addition to economic history studies, he devoted himself to the history of ideas and the problems of socialism. The publication of the main works of socialism and social policy since 1904 was of particular importance in his work. 1]
